The Careers service of the University of Southampton `Career Destinations` has kindly offered sponsorship for the CAHO10 symposium. Career Destinations offers a wide range of services to both current students and alumni, including skills development (e.g. the Graduate Passport), placements and internships and a student portal with job vacancies. Moreover they also have services specifically focussing on raising the employability of postgraduate research students.
Networking skills are vital in this modern age and the CAHO10 symposium will be a great opportunity to create networks between alumni, current students, staff and delegates from other institutions. Furthermore throughout the symposium we will be collecting profiles from CAHO postgraduate research alumni to add to the `Voices of Experience` website, illustrating the different possible career paths after completing a PhD in Archaeology.
Finally, as a University of Southampton Alumni don`t forget to visit the Alumni Office website to find out how you can stay in touch with the University community and to discover what services they have on offer for you!
